Biological activity:

6-Demethoxytangeretin 6-Demethoxytritylxanthine is a flavonoid isolated from Citrus depressa. 6-Demethoxytangeretin has anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic activities and inhibits IL-6 production and gene expression in human mast cells through the anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) and mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathways. 6- Demethoxytangeretin promotes CRE-mediated transcription (associated with learning and memory in hippocampal neurons).
